Warranty

The warranty for any product in Spain is 3 years for purchases made from 2022 onwards. For purchases made before 2022, the warranty is 2 years under manufacturing defects. To process any type of warranty for any of our items, the manufacturer's technical service requests the following information from us or you:

  • Serial number.
  • Video/photo of the product issue.
  • Purchase invoice.

Rivas y Anaya S.L will handle the product warranty process within the first 6 months from the delivery date. After this period, and for the remaining time the warranty is valid, the customer will need to process the warranty directly with the manufacturer through the following links:

Rivas y Anaya will not cover management or repair costs if the product is not covered by the warranty. If the product is not covered by the warranty, the customer will decide whether they want it repaired based on the previously sent and informed repair estimate, or if they prefer no repair to be made, thus only assuming the management review costs. This process will be determined exclusively by the manufacturer's technical service.

The product warranty will lose its value completely in the following cases:

  • Handling or modification of the product.
  • Outside the warranty period in Spain.
  • Lack of purchase invoice.

Regarding the warranty or repair of pool cleaner accessories, you must provide us with the serial number of the pool cleaner, and the pool cleaner must be available in case the technical service requests to send it along with the accessory that needs to be inspected.

The warranty on the probes of saltwater chlorination systems is 6 months under manufacturing defects. We remind customers that this is a consumable product, so, as with any warranty, the technical service will determine whether or not it is covered by the warranty.

The same applies to electrolysis systems; they are consumable products, so if the useful life hours have passed, it will not be processed as a warranty. As with any warranty, the technical service will determine whether or not it is covered by the warranty.

If the warranty is not approved by the manufacturer and is pending budget confirmation, the customer has 7 calendar days to accept the management fees or the repair estimate. If we do not receive a response from the customer, storage fees of 5€ per day (VAT included) will be charged.
