The pre-filter cover gasket for Hayward Max Flow pumps is made of high quality rubber and resistant to chemical agents.
Note that the profile of the joint chord is not round, it is rectangular, having a width of 4 mm. and a height of 7 mm.
If this rubber is deteriorated, it prevents the correct suction of the pool motor, causing air intakes that cause the filtration system to fail.
