These electrodes are manufactured with a copper and silver alloy.
Ionization equipment allows a very considerable saving of chemical in the pool.
The operation of these is very simple, an electric current is passed through the electrodes, which causes the ions of Cu (copper) and Ag (plata) to be released, these are positively charged in the pool water, their positive load allows them to join the negative sites on the cell walls of bacteria and viruses denaturalizing their proteins and therefore removing them.
When replacing your electrodes it is very important to check the condition of the fixing nuts as these can be affected by wear as well as electrodes. Replace them if necessary.
