Operating

This revolutionary combination of UV-C and copper electrolysis means that you can have a pool with minimal use of chlorine. Electrically charged copper ions (Cu2+) in the water look for opposite polarity particles, such as bacteria, viruses and fungi. Positively charged copper ions form electrostatic compounds with negatively charged cell walls of microorganisms. These compounds alter the permeability of cell walls and cause failure in nutrient absorption. As a result, bacteria can no longer multiply and eventually die. Ions remain active until they are absorbed by a microorganism.
