Description

Aquachek Salt test strips are the essential accessory for customers who have salt chlorination systems .

In a short time AquaChek Salt white measure salt levels (sodium chloride). It has a measurement range of 400 to 7,000 ppm .

With the proper salt levels , you can be sure your salt chlorinator will produce the correct amount of chlorine to keep your water clean and free of contaminants .

To determine the level of salt in the water, simply place the strip in a water sample and wait approximately 10 minutes. Then you only have to compare it with the table printed on the boat.

The bottle contains 10 test strips.

FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Pull one strip out of the pot, note that its center line is a uniform brown color.
  • Insert the lower part of the test strip into a container of water, no more than 3 cm.
  • Wait approximately 10 minutes.
  • Take the test strip out of the water and notice that its color has changed to a lighter one.
  • Locate on the test strip the maximum point that this color change reaches.
  • This level will indicate a number, keep in mind that each line is equal to 0.2 (in the example 6.6)
  • Look for that number in the table that you will find on the strip button.
  • That number will be paired with the amount of salt in your pool expressed in mg/l.

In the example on the left we have a maximum white point of 6.6, which when looking for it in the table indicates
that we have a salt concentration in the water of 3450 mg/l. (3.45 gr/l).
