Multicyclone - prefiltro centrífugo

The Multicyclone 12 centrifugal pre-filter is a pre-filtration device capable of saving water and reducing the maintenance of any pool filter, it does not contain filter elements to clean or replace.

Its operation uses centrifugal force to separate dirt particles from the water. The water is led by a diversion guide to a set of hydrocyclones, where it enters with a tangential flow to produce a centrifugal effect. This causes the sediment to go to the outer wall of the hydrocyclone where it descends into a sediment reservoir, returning the clean water to rise towards the outlet.

It is installed between the pool pump and the filtration system (sand filter, cartridges, etc). The minimum and maximum flow required is between 2.4 m³/h and 18 m³/h.

The Multicyclone 12 centrifugal prefilter is capable of retaining up to 70% of particles between 50 and 80 microns, and 100% of larger particles.

Being a solid system with no parts that require movement, maintenance is practically zero. The filtration is carried out thanks to the centrifugal action of the water.
