The new UVscenic UV 33 low salinity + ultraviolet electrolysis equipment, for private or public pools, uses two disinfection methods to achieve perfect water sterilization, without adding any chemical product.
On the one hand, oxidants are generated through low salinity electrolysis (from 1.5 g of NaCl/l). On the other hand, the water is subjected to UV-C radiation that additionally helps to neutralize bacteria, viruses, other primary organisms and chloramines.

Functioning
Next, we will indicate the operating principles of the UVSCENIC disinfection system.
Hydrolysis and/or Electrolysis of low salinity.
Water is made up of 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen (H2O).
Hydrolysis etymologically means decomposition by water. Hydrolysis a process to generate hydrogen and oxygen by means of electricity and water.
Passing an electrical current through the water breaks the chemical bond, negative charges or oxygen ions migrate to the positive electrode (anode). Hydrogen ions, which are positively charged, are attracted to the negative electrode (cathode). The decomposition that will occur will be the following:
Electrical energy +2 H²O → 2 H² + O²
This results in an extra negative element, since in the combination of the number of electrons exceeds the number of protons by 1. It is now a single negatively charged hydroxide, or hydroxyl ion (OH -).
In Hydrolysis there are numerous secondary chemical reactions, which also produce ionic species with an oxidizing power and disinfectants such as ozone (O²), monatomic oxygen (O1) and hydrogen peroxide (H²O²).
The electronic circuit of our electronic box transforms current (220 V, 50Hz) into direct current of low voltage and high amperage. This current will be supplied to titanium electrodes activated with noble metals placed in the water recirculation on a support specially designed for this purpose.
In these non-soluble electrodes, a combination of the most powerful existing oxidants is created for water disinfection, thus avoiding the use of chemical products.
If in this treatment we incorporate a small amount of salt between 1 and 2 grams of salt per liter of water, either due to lack of conductivity or because we want to generate a tangible residual, we will thus achieve that the same system also generates a chlorine residual by electrolysis. saline at low concentration. The products break down, act and regenerate again. The residual disinfectant generated by electrolysis will not harm the eyes, skin or health of bathers.
You will not have to worry if your pool runs out of salt as the system will continue to sanitize in Hydrolysis mode.
The chlorine generated destroys the organic matter and pathogens present in the water, transforming itself again into sodium chloride (common salt).
Ultraviolet radiation.
Ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nanometers, through a process of photolysis and photo-oxidation, destroys all organic matter.
Thanks to the double length of the casing of our system, the water is exposed for a longer time to a much higher dose of UV-C radiation.
The casing is made of ABS material, thus preventing dirt from adhering and resisting salt concentrations of up to 10 gr NaCl/l.
They destroy chloramines and eliminate legionella without altering or modifying the physical-chemical characteristics of the water.
The low pressure UV-C lamps of the prestigious Philips brand last up to 9,000 hours.
