Butterfly valve PVC Ø 160 standard series EPDM from Cepex

Cepex 's new EPDM Ø 160 standard series butterfly valve stems from the need for innovation in order to obtain an improvement on valves already on the market.

Being a compact valve built in PVC-U high mechanical resistance to temperatures and chemical agents.

The butterfly valve has several advantages to improve the quality of the valve.

Advantage.

1. Thanks to the integral gate seal with maximum sealing, thus allowing a body to be totally isolated from the fluid, it acts as a seal for the flanges on both sides of the valve.
2. The assembly will be carried out by means of flanges in order to have greater ease at the time of disassembly and replacement of the parts.
3. For greater insulation on the shaft with respect to the fluid, the butterfly valve has a double O-ring on the shaft.
4. To avoid all kinds of corrosion problems, only the plastic parts will come into contact with the fluid.
5. They have an anti-friction gate joint and a long, high-strength ergonomic handle, thus obtaining low maneuvering torque.
6. To ensure the selected position, the lever has a trigger and a set of toothed divider allowing you to select 7 different positions.
7. It has a highly wear-resistant gate since the butterfly valve has a very long service life, being able to withstand the presence of abrasive elements such as sand.
8. The butterfly valve is a lightweight valve, thus reducing the effort required for simple handling and also having greater ease of installation and maintenance.
